Terre à Terre Crayeres Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2022

“The styling here is starkly different to most New World sauvignon. For the greater good! Multi-barrel types used for fermentation and aging, all mid-sized to large. The effect is one of textural precision over obvious tutti frutti sort of fruit. There is a guile to this wine, unraveling nicely before an emphatic finish, a little hard, demanding that it be cellared for the mid-term to reveal what lies beyond. And plenty does. Very good mid-weighted savvy. Yellow plum, a tuft of mint and a little Pastis. Drink or hold. Screw cap.”
