Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2016
“The wine was aged for 28 months in French oak of which 25% was new and released in very small quantities (1200 bottles).The nose has spice and underlying milk chocolate notes to blackberry and plum fruit with some understated fennel. A medium to full bodied expression of Cabernet Franc that has an aspect of the savoury and smokey tones the variety is known for but is swept along by seductive black fruits and generous, well proportioned oak. Tannins are fine but give grip and underwrite medium term development to finish.”
