Deep purple/red colour, bright and youthful. The aromas are of perfectly ripened black fruits and subtle dried herbs, there is no regional mint and the oak is so sensitively applied as to be unnoticed. It’s medium to full-bodied and has good concentration, the savoury black fruit flavours backed up by persistent but smooth, ripe tannins. A very good wine indeed, which just needs time.
