Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2015
Wonderful to see more straight bottlings of Cabernet Franc. It’s a grape worthy of extra attention.
Spice and perfume, blackcurrant, briar and mint, a subtle sweet earth and coffee grounds bass note. Medium bodied, red and blackcurrant, bramble and spice, fat and fleshy tannin, pure raspberry acidity, and a minerally earthy finish with the brightness of red fruits shining through. Something a little different, and very very good.
