CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

Crayères Vineyard Cabernet Franc Shiraz 2018

“The wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc (63%) and Shiraz (37%) and represents a new direction for Terre a Terre with a focus on Shiraz as a constituent part for Cabernet dominant wines.

The wine has a youthful, inky red in the glass with a nose of black cherry and blackberry fruit with graphite and earthen notes. The wine is all about texture and tannin with a svelte but savoury baseline that has just enough richness from new oak when combined with flowing dark berry fruits. The finish has has bitter dark chocolate and driving black cherry and plum. Will live for decades and is great value at a retail of $32.” 93 points
