“Cherry-plum fruit” – Campbell Mattinson reviews 2018 Summertown Pinot Noir

CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

Terre à Terre Summertown Vineyard Reserve Pinot Noir 2018

“From the Summertown Vineyard, planted in 1987, in the Adelaide Hills.

As they say in the classics, I dips my lids to this one. The cherry-plum fruit flavours are both macerated and fresh at once, the texture is creamy and the finish spreads and runs particularly well. Sweet woodsy spice characters fly throughout but what I really like, especially once it’s had time to breathe, is the way it keeps its form as it fans out. Strong release.”
