“excellent sense of balance and harmony”- Angus Hughson

CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

Terre à Terre Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2018

“I first saw this wine around six months ago and in that time it has jumped ahead leaps and bounds but it still needed a couple of days to show its best, starting out a little closed, so best cellared for a little while at least. But with some air it all came together beautifully. Mid to deep ruby in colour, the warmer 2018 vintage is on show with lovely bright, sweet fruit aromas; black and red currants, mulberry plus a faint leafiness with white pepper spice in the background supported by generous oak. The palate is a little more serious with fleshy dark fruits tempered by savoury baked earth complexity well supported by plenty of mouth-coating tannins. There is also an excellent sense of balance and harmony suggesting a long life ahead.”
