The following review was published in James Halliday’s 2020 Wine Companion in August:
Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
“86% cabernet sauvignon, 9% cabernet franc, 5% shiraz matured for 18 months in French oak, 48% new. The oak regime was similar as per the shiraz but cabernet has stared it down. Here’s a wine you can invest in with confidence. Deep-set blackcurrant, fresh boysenberry, tobacco, gum leaves and smoky/cedary oak. It’s ripped with tannin, flush with fruit, and immaculate from all angles.”
