From Xavier Bizot and Lucy Croser’s Crayeres vineyard in Wrattonbully, South Australia, this blend of cabernet franc, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon shows floral and blackberry characters on the nose and palate, with soft tannins and very good length. It will be a natural with red meats with a Mediterranean influence over the next five years or so. $32. Ask at fine wine outlets or try the winery online at terreaterre.com.au.
