Terre à Terre Down to Earth Sauvignon Blanc 2015
Sydney Morning Herald – Spectrum 9/1/2016
Australia adores sauvignon blanc. Floods are consumed, with the Kiwi version enjoying pride of place all over the country, but there are sauvignon blanc haters out there too. This subtle type from Wrattonbully in South Australia might please them more. It bridges the gap between freshness and complexity well, with citrus, tropical fruit and herb aromas contrasting with mellow lees and barely-there old oak influences. It has good mouthfeel, depth and fine texture with lovely flow through to a lingering, zesty finish. Sauvignon blanc of real charm.
