Terre à Terre launches two new releases – National Liquor News

CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

Terre à Terre has launched two new release wines from its Crayères vineyard in Wrattonbully, South Australia.

The 2015 Terre à Terre Blanc is an off-dry style with some complexity derived from the later harvest of very ripe, clean fruit and from the very slow, three month long, fermentation in new oak.

Ripe citrus flavours come through on the mid-palate, and pristine acidity balances the light sweetness, and the fruit lingers on the palate. Only 230 dozen bottles of the Blanc were produced.

The 2014 Terre à Terre Rouge is a new blend and is described as one of the most independent-minded wines of the Terre à Terre range, demonstrating how Shiraz and Cabernet Franc work together.

Aromas are floral and of classic blackberry fruit and the palate shows very soft tannins with great length. Only 750 dozen bottles of the Rouge were produced.

Terre à Terre is sold to independent retailers around Australia and the Blanc and Rouge retail for $32.
