Down to Earth Sauvignon Blanc 2017
One of our most decisively different sauvignons, eschewing the wild tropicals and green grassiness of other popular styles to set its own aromatic and textural palate parameters. Just over a third of the wine has been fermented in large format oak vessels and then rested on its own yeast remnants (lees) to develop fine, minerally mouth feels. Musk and gentle apple and lemon flavours that all mesh into a very smart, gastronomic white pleasure.
