Light straw in colour with a clean and fruity nose of frangipani, white stonefruit, hints of passionfruit, pear, pineapple, lime zest and dried mango, with a dollop of fresh cream and honeyed oats. In the mouth it’s dry, mineral, yet silky and echoes the nose with a concentration of fruit flavour that’s been supercharged with intense, tangy green apple-like acidity, and seasoned with sea salt and savoury spice. Very pure and focused. It drives long, becoming less fruit forward and more savoury as it makes its way through a developing tail of salted lime, green mango, white pineapple and slightly bitter mineral water. A great wine in its infancy and at a wonderful price point.
