“It’s from a close-planted vineyard at Wrattonbully and it goes into 600 litre oak. 750 dozen are produced.
You get intensity of flavour, texture and length and you get it in fine style. This is another in a long string of excellent releases. Gunsmoke, gooseberry, chalk and dried herb notes take on a gravelly, toasty character through the finish. It’s both neat and long; it’s very good.”
