Down to Earth Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Terre à Terre routinely puts texture into its sauvignon blanc; thankfully. Texture is pretty much always a good thing.

This is punchy with flavour but feels contained and controlled too. Really well put together. It tastes of gravel, passionfruit, slate and dried herbs, though the truth is that the flavours move as one; nothing really sticks out. Woodsmoke and lemon characters rise with air. A touch of lemon sorbet even. Good stuff.
