Terre à Terre Rouge 2015
44/36/20% blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, the latter relegated from the front seat it took with the 2014. It’s medium weight wine with everything geared towards the finish; never a bad thing. Blackberry, saltbush, gravel and black olive flavours put on a highly focussed, disciplined show, tannin only adding to the wine’s core strength. You’d bet on this for the medium term and (well) beyond.
