Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2015
Hand-picked, 75% wild-fermented with 20% whole bunches, the remainder destemmed, matured for 22 months in French barriques (25% new). The vinification has worked well, and the grapes were picked ripe, not overripe. Juicy red and black cherry fruit is framed by persistent fine tannins, oak assisting not interfering. Elegant. Full of fruit.
