DAOSA Blanc de Blancs 2020

Chardonnay that was aged on gross lees in old oak for 7 months prior to tirage and futher ageing on lees in bottle for 46 months.
A light yellow in colour with a beautifully fine bead. The nose has subtle white peach and oyster shell with a suggestion of mealy richness.
The palate is complex with a rich, yet savoury nuance that no doubt is due to the time in old oak and a pristinely pure base wine. There is weight and presence to white peach with a faint lemon curd note, acidity is textural and gives length. Length is great.
