The 2013 Down to Earth Sauvignon Blanc followed up the success of the 2012 by once again appearing in James Halliday’s annual list of the top 100 wines in Australia, with a score of 96 points. The full review is as follows:
Estate-grown, hand-picked, cool fermented in tank, and 5% matured in a new French foudre (upright vat). Continues a proud track record of exceptional focus, intensity and drive to its mix of citrus, tropical fruits and mineral. It leaves those who deny sauvignon blanc a place in vinous heaven out in the cold.
