Mike Bennie recently wrote an article for Men’s Style highlighting better versions of Sauvignon Blanc – those that are ‘carefully styled, artfully created, more complex wines that deliver great flavour and satisfaction.’ He featured three such Sauvignon Blancs including our own 2010 as follows:
Terre à Terre Sauvignon Blanc 2010
An inherent minerality in the fruit and fermentation in oak barrels gives this wine some treble and bass notes. There are grapefruit and bruised apple characters in the bouquet and palate, but shaped by a sublime focus and almost chalky grip. Exotic and complex, bang the gong and summon the celestials.
