Pineapple and lime pie with a dollop of vanilla, though I hasten to add, this is a subdued quiet style, not a fruity beauty. Some flint and light struck match, quince, light herbal inflection and citrus freshness. Soft clear acidity and gentle texture – feels great in the mouth – exemplary line and length. Such a graceful wine. Excellent.
