Terre à Terre means down to earth and is situated at Wrattonbully on South Australia’s Limestone Coast. It is owned and operated by husband and wide team Xavier Bizot and Lucy Croser, names associated with some of the world’s great sparkling wines.
Bizot is the son of Christian Bizot, the late great patriarch of French Champagne house Bollinger, and Croser is the daughter of Australian winemaking legend Brian Croser. This is a French influenced cabernet, stylish and meticulously made with layers of black fruit, intergrated spice, lovely balance after two years in French oak, rounded tannins and terrific length.
