Down to Earth Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Clear glass, clear wine, bone dry finish. ‘Green’ leafy nose (although producers Xavier Bizot and Lucy Croser explicit state they delayed picked to avoid these) and remarkably high, apparently natural acidity. No malolactic conversion. Very crisp, juicy and refreshing but without that much complexity or persistence. This tastes as though there is no hurry whatsoever to drink it.
