Terre à Terre 2010 Sauvignon Blanc – 94 points

CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

From a close planted vineyard in Wrattonbully, comes this fascinating barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc. It just came in today – I’m feeling LIFO.

Grapefruit, subdued pineapple frivolity, along with cinnamon and vanilla spice, smoke and hint of capsicum – it’s all going on here. Intense, focussed and citric combining balanced acidity with mildly abrasive grippy textural interest. Good finish, pithy and almost chalky, but long and dry. Interesting and lovely to drink. Terrific.
