“An iconic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (68%) and Shiraz (16%) is given a Cabernet Franc twist. Mature, savoury profile with chewy tannins, chalky acidity and great depth and layer of flavour. A big mouthful of fresh blackcurrant, plum, leather, panforte, liquorice, mocha, dried sage, clove, cedar and dusty earth. Aged 11 months in French oak barrels (84% new), then another 17 months in an old 4,000l foudre.” 93 points
