Light straw-yellow colour, with an oak-driven bouquet, which has cashew and toasted-nut barrel aromas uppermost and crowding out the fruit expression at this stage.
It’s lively and very dry in the mouth, with liberal acidity, the oak not dominating the palate, but the fruit shy and subtly expressed – although there is citrusy flavour evident. Lively, bright acidity. It needs time to come together and is a little young. Like a white Graves, it’s hard to appreciate this style so young. Defintely a food wine, and very good potential.
