Daosa Blanc De Blancs 2018

“The eighth release of the vintage Cuvée and the line of vineyard expression and quality continues to grow. 4 years on lees has given depth and richness but there is an underlying energy and drive that sets the wine up for many years in the cellar. A truly world-class sparkling.
The wine is a light yellow in colour with a fine and persistent bead, aromatics give oyster shell, lemon and nectarine alongside flinty brioche. The palate has new season nectarine and peach with a flowing backbone of acidity that is offset by beautifully precise brioche notes; the length is incredibly long with a touch of sea spray. Will be even better after a few years in bottle.”
