“Pale yellow-straw colour. The nose is very restrained when compared with the out-there type of commercial sauvignon blanc. Instead it offers a perfectly-measured nose of lemon, floral, aniseed and leesy aromas, dressed almost subliminally in the merest suggestion of oak. It has good flesh and textural interest in a very long, refined palate of outstanding balance and presence. Very classy indeed.”
