Medium straw-yellow colour. Toasty bouquet with some hints of burnt toast, some nutty barrel nuances, also meringue and candy. Rich and full in the mouth with eggy chardonnay and yeast interactions evident, and a fleshy, dense, concentrated palate flavour that lingers on well. Creamy and mouthfilling, a superb wine that fills every corner of the palate. Long, long carry – clean and energised with refreshing acidity.
