Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2015
Such an expressive and delicious wine. Made from close-planted sauvignon blanc vines from the Crayères Vineyard, the wine has incredibly focused fruit flavours driven by exceptional acidity. Snappy lemon, pineapple and passionfruit flavours infuse to give an overall ‘bright fruitiness’ that is neither garish nor overdone. There is beautiful background savouriness from maturation, in large French oak casks, plus some attractive, gentle framing phenolics. The wine gets better the longer it is open. Just fabulous.
