Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Shiraz 2015
A vibrant but dark red in the glass in the glass, plum and blackberry fruit have soaked up 50% new French oak but has left a lingering array of spice and milk chocolate richness in it’s wake.
Medium bodied with tightly bound violets and dark fruits that are laden with earth and briar before oak provides a veneer of richness and understated spice. The finish is densely dark fruited with a dusting of dark chocolate and flashes of oak.
This wine is giving plenty now, but has a structure that will see it continue to evolve over decades.
