“It’s from a close-planted vineyard at Wrattonbully and it goes into 600 litre oak, 25% new.
More about texture than flavour or indeed aroma. You could say that this plays its cards close to its chest but then it’s very textural, very generous in that way. Gunmetal, passionfruit pulp, alpine herb notes. No sweetness or anything overtly fruity. Interesting. Yet to hit its drinking peak.”
