“Beguiling blend of 83% Pinot Noir and 17% Chardonnay from five elevated sites (500m and above) and three vintages (2018, with 23% reserve wines from 2017 and 2016). Sweet wild strawberry, white peach, grapefruit and minerals. Eighteen months on lees and the reserve wines (barrel-aged without sulphur until tiraging in February 2019) impart tangy, savoury complexity and lingering, sourdough yeastiness. Lovely intensity and flow with a persistent bead. Disgorged August 2020; dosage 7g/l.” 93 points
