“As always, this is such a compelling wine that seemingly stands alone stylistically to other Sauvignon Blancs in Australia. To give it a moniker it is more old world than new and about subtle structure and influence as opposed to fruit. The nose gives touches of kaffir lime to restrained tropical fruits with the palate enjoying a build of citrus and stone fruits that are carried by a mineral, textual backbone of acidity. To finish there is a peppery passionfruit influence alongside dry honey and melon. A truly spectacular release.”
