“From the Crayères Vineyard in Wrattonbully comes this generous but well-proportioned Cabernet Shiraz. The detail and shape are all class – it’s an excellent wine hands down. Much like its Cabernet Franc sibling, blackberries are front and centre as is the dryness that runs ripples through the mouth. Consuming every crevice of the mouth, cedar and caramel walk side by side through an expanse of dried herbs and savoury feels. Thyme and sage, shards of chocolate plus some hints of vanilla too. A 81/19 blend, over a couple of days it still showed its clout as it gradually softened. Brick dust tannins swarm on close and refuse to leave. Big love and highly recommended. Drink to ten years+”
