“The Down to Earth Savvy sees the younger fruit from the famous Crayeres vineyard in Wrattonbully and this year, comes from a superb vintage. The wine is made partly in stainless steel and partly in large old oak barrels – both undergo a cold fermentation. A limpid lemon colour, this offers fresh Sauvignon Blanc notes. Hints of grass and nettles, a tiny touch of honey and a minerally backing. leading to a lovely seamless palate with notes of limes. A refreshing style with good length, it is a classic Savvy for drinking now and over the next two years.”
