“The 2023 Crayeres Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is restrained and grassy on the nose, with grated nutmeg and scratched citrus, cream cheese and star anise, shaved fennel and even a hint of dill. In the mouth, the wine is gently green and quite intense, with a curve of acidity that fits hand in glove with the extract. This is very good, but I wager it will be far better with some time under its belt. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.”
