CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

The 2024 Crayères Vineyard Reserve Fumé Blanc is bright and spicy, layered with white pepper, lemon pith, green apple skin and wet chalk. This is tightly wound and pure, and over time it will gently unfurl, developing breadth and toastiness in the bottle. I like it very much now, but I know I’m going to love it later. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.  The 2024 Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Réserve Fumé Blanc was harvested on March 6, 2024, from the western portion of the vineyard. The fruit was whole-bunch pressed and fermented in old French oak 600-liter demi-muids. The wine was aged in oak for seven months, with no malolactic fermentation, and it was bottled in December 2024.
