Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Cabernet Shiraz 2022

The 2022 Crayeres Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz comprises 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Shiraz from the 1.5-meter-by-1.5 meter spaced Crayeres vineyard in Wrattonbully. The wine is spicy and dry in the mouth, with layers of fine tannins that protect a core of fruit. In the glass, the wine is light in color and gently translucent, quite distinct from other Cab-Shiraz blends in this country. Time may assist in softening those tannins—one hopes that it will. 14.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
