CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

DAOSA Natural Réserve NV 6th Release

Author: Steve Leszczynski | QWineReviews

“An easy-going sparkling from the Adelaide Hills, the sixth release of this DAOSA Natural Réserve NV has an easy come, easy go swagger. Not much will ruffle its feathers, and nor should it as you sip on this with sheer delight.

A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier (60/39/1), the 2023 fruit was blended with portions from 2019 and 2020 (17% of the final blend came from Reserve wines). This release was disgorged in August 2023.

An inviting introduction courtesy of lemon juice and preserved lemons that combine with almond meal and some cashews. Some toast and biscotti add something to ponder in the midpalate. There is enough to keep you engaged with a lemony tang that just hangs. Aperitif or party time, you choose.

Drink now.
