Daosa Blanc de Blancs 2012

A warmer vintage that has a gently floral edge, greenish apples and apple blossoms. The wine is fermented and aged on lees for five months in older barriques before triage and 60 months in bottle. Disgorged last August. The acidity sits nicely, and the nose is super pure. Very fresh with tart lemons and grapefruit. Very precise, elegant, texturally nicely rounded and gently waxy. Pears and apples to close.
