“There’s a lot going on beneath the soil at Terre à Terre’s Crayères Vineyard- including ancient fossils. The special patch of land is next to Tapanappa’s Whalebone Vineyard at the top of a Wrattonbully limestone ridge. There’s a lot going on in the bottle, too. Intense blackcurrant, red cherries and spice flavours are rich, powerful and intriguing but not so heavy they leave you overwhelmed. Like any good fossil, it’s rare.”
