“set for fine development” – Jancis Robinson

CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

Here’s international heavy-weight wine writer Jancis Robinson’s thoughts on the 2009 Daosa:

Debut vintage from Xavier Bizot, son of Bollinger now in South Australia. Made as Bollinger in oak casks and then aged for 30 months in bottle on tirage.

Very marked acidity and bone dry with impressive substance. Clearly set for fine development. Lovely texture. Too young for much complexity but a most impressive start.
