“A special bottle-aged release, this is a superb mid-weighted wine of considerable complexity and buckets of life. White Bordeaux styling, with barrel fermentation and aging across different formats, punctuated by extended lees handling. Complex aromas of honeydew, mirabelle, buttered white bread slathered with lemon curd, lanolin and truffle. Excellent expansion across the mid-palate, with a skein of really juicy acidity dragging the fray long. I’d drink this up, but it is certainly not going anywhere fast. Drink or hold. Screw cap.”
