Terre à Terre Sauvignon Blanc 2014 wins best Sauvignon Blanc at Halliday Wine Companion Awards 2016
The sixth vintage of our Terre à Terre Sauvignon Blanc from Wrattonbully has won Sauvignon Blanc of the year at the Wine Companion Awards 2016 on Tuesday night, with 97 points. This is a tribute to our 10-year-old unique close spaced single vineyard in Wrattonbully, planted in 2004. The wine is still very young, and has great potential for ageing. It reinforces our belief that the Terra Rossa over limestone ridges in the Wrattonbully wine region have great potential to produce world class wines from red and white “Bordeaux” varieties. Our Terre à Terre Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 also got 96 points in the 2016 Halliday Wine Companion, which adds to the very good reviews received so far on the wine.
