DAOSA Natural Réserve 7th Release
Arther: Gary Walsh | The Wine Front
Aside the weird semiotics of ‘Natural Reserve’, yes, usually a very good wine.
Honey, floral notes, peanuts, spice and green apple, citrus and marzipan. It’s a bit savoury, but also has plenty of white peach and honeyed flavour, the bubbles are kind of vigorous and foamy, and there’s some saline character too, with flinty grip and a finish of good length. It’s maybe a little raw in nature, but it delivers a good sparkling wine experience, with a spicy ginger aftertaste. Texture leans into more of a good Prosecco character, that sort of thing.
