“Textural and weighty without being heavy” 93 Points – Erin Larkin | Wine Advocate

CREATING CLASSIC AUSTRALIAN WINES

The 2022 Rosé is floral and pink-fruited, with red apple, pink grapefruit and pink peppercorn. In the mouth, the wine is spicy, textural and weighty without being heavy, and it has excellent length. The wine is littered with stone fruit and juicy intensity, and it has chalky phenolics that are profuse through the finish. 13% alcohol, sealed under Diam. The DAOSA Rosé 2022 is made from Pinot Meunier (66%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Chardonnay (4%), all grown in the Piccadilly Valley. The fruit was harvested in mid-March 2022 and was whole-bunch pressed at high pressure. Primary and malolactic fermentations took place in tank. Tirage occurred in November 2022, and the wine spent 22 months on the lees in bottle before disgorgement in October 2025.
