“Creamy straw in colour with a gentle blush of peach and a nose that’s vinous, complex and very pretty. Cultured butter on toasted sourdough, cherry blossom, granny smith apple, lemon meringue pie, pickled fennel, strawberry and peach are accompanied by chantilly, brine and lime zest.
The palate is dry, yet creamy and is textured by an elegant bead. A stunning acid line drives flavours of white peach, slightly underripe nectarine, strawberry, lily pilly, nashi pear, hints of bitter radicchio and lemon/lime through to a reaching tail. A seam of intense minerality holds throughout and layers complexity into this incredibly well-made sparkling. It ends long and hums with chardonnay fruit. This has to be one of the very best Sparkling wines in Australia, and for $55, you’re getting absolutely spoilt! A no brainer .”
