Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Reserve 2016
Wine Advocate – Issue 253 End of February 2021
“The 2016 Crayeres Vineyard Reserve is a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% each Cabernet Franc and Shiraz, aged in mostly new oak for 11 months, then blended and matured another 17 months in an older foudre. It still shows plenty of cedar and vanilla on the nose, wrapping those elements around a core of cassis, cherries and mint. In the mouth, the wine is medium to full-bodied, marked by supple tannins, a pleasant, creamy-ish texture and a long, smooth finish. Give it another couple of years in bottle, then drink it over the following decade or so.” 93 points – Drink 2023-2035
