“Vinified as a vin de soif, this is an unusual mix of Cabernet Franc, Trousseau Noir, Merlot and Mondeuse. Reflecting the precise house style, it has little in common with funkier Adelaide Hills’ examples. The Saumur-like Cabernet Franc dominates with its sweet red and black berry fruit, hints of violets, bitter chocolate, capsicum, dried herbs and pencil shavings.” 90 points
